We are pleased to offer home stay accommodation combined with work experience on a one–2-one basis. The workplace is proposed from within the voluntary sector, usually in charity shops. The student will stay with a host family on a half board basic (breakfast and evening meal). Work experience is provided locally usually within a 20 minute bus journey, thus giving the experience of independence, confidence with using London Transport and becoming familiar with local town / community and amenities.
We provide airport pick up and drop off service. One of our Homestay Direct Limited Representatives will personally collect you from Gatwick airport and drive you to your host family and introduce you personally. Our representative will be happy to help with oyster cards and UK sim for mobile if needed. The host family will be happy to show the student the local area and provide full details including maps of how to get to work place. Our representative will meet the student at the work place on the first morning and introduce to shop staff. Our local representative is always on hand for support and assistance; and will make regular contact by telephone and text message to ensure a smooth and enjoyable work experience and homestay. On day of departure the student will be collected from their host family and driven to Gatwick airport drop off point.
